If you are currently working for a company overseas and your employer has offered you a position in the company to work in their UK branch, you can make a Tier 2 (Intra Company Transfer) Application for a visa to continue your employment in the UK.

 

This visa will be valid for up to three years to allow you to continue your employment in the UK.

 

For a successful application you must met the general requirements of Tier 2 such a salary and working hours as well as having your employer as your sponsor in the UK.

We got above the result we were expecting – so I would recommend! My wife had missed the visa application deadline for ILR due to being a busy mum and missing the sneaky government rule change on English tests and 30 day grace period. We were advised by one lawyer to go down the Human rights route – given the current government climate on immigration. Ravi advised to try ILR anyway. He put forward an expert application based on the Mum and Child needing to be together. It was a long wait – as no doubt it was put in the ‘difficult box’ by the UKBA but all good in the end.
